OUR ORIGIN
A Water Efficiency Breakthrough, Built for the World
FluidLytix was founded in 2018 with a single mission: to give commercial property owners a smarter, simpler way to reduce water waste. The result was the Wave Valve — a patented, maintenance-free device that addresses three root causes of water and sewer overcharges at once.
From the beginning, FluidLytix worked directly with hotels, apartment complexes, restaurants, and commercial buildings across the United States and internationally, building a track record of verified savings that speaks for itself. Every Wave Valve sold today is manufactured by FluidLytix — the same company that invented and patented the technology.

THE TECHNOLOGY
What the Wave Valve Does
The patented Wave Valve addresses three separate causes of water waste in a single maintenance-free device — no electricity, no moving parts.
Patented Air Compression Logic
Most municipal water meters are unable to distinguish between liquid and air, charging you full price for "metered air" caused by turbulence and pressure drops. The WAVE® valve uses patented fluid dynamics to compress these air bubbles as they go through the meter. By ensuring the meter only measures liquid volume, we eliminate up to 30% of "phantom" costs from your monthly utility bill.
Precision Pressure Stabilization
High or fluctuating city water pressure is a leading cause of "water hammer," pinhole leaks, and premature failure of appliances and boilers. As the original manufacturer, our valve is engineered to stabilize downstream pressure to a consistent, safe PSI. This reduces mechanical stress on your property's entire plumbing infrastructure, significantly lowering long-term maintenance costs and emergency repair risks.
Advanced Laminar Flow Control
The WAVE® valve optimizes fluid velocity and restores "laminar flow" across the system. This creates a more efficient distribution of water throughout the building, ensuring every tenant has reliable pressure while further reducing the total volume of water required to meet property demand.

The WAVE® valve was invented by Juan Carlos Bocos and Juan Carlos Bocos Vilar Jr., with the original technology filing dating back to 2011. As the founders of FluidLytix, they secured U.S. Patent No. 8,944,098 B1, establishing FluidLytix as the only authorized manufacturer and legal originator of this specific water efficiency logic. Any other use of the "WAVE Valve" name in the commercial water industry post-dates our established legal priority.
